Great view, delicious food... they need to do something about the pigeons!
One almost bit my finger and when I went to dump my food they flew out of the trash cans like jack in the boxes.
I'll come back again! -

Good food and a million-dollar view, but hampered by service issues...
THE ROSES: Great food! Marination Ma Kai offers a sort of Hawaiian-Korean fusion that is fun and delicious! The view of the City across Elliott Bay is second to none, and they have ample seating.
THE THORNS: Parking can be a challenge, the lot is fairly small, and shared with park-goers and the nearby street parking is often taken up with commuters who use the local water taxi.
Another issue is that the lines for ordering food and drinks can be really outrageous and slow. What is particularly maddening is that after standing in line for 15 minutes to place a food order, I was told I couldn't order my beer with my food, but instead had to go to the bar that was six feet away, and stand in line for another 10 minutes to order a drink! I know MMK is run by experienced people, but these bottlenecks are ridiculous! Haven't they ever heard of expediters in the kitchen?
THE VERDICT: A great place to visit in the off-season or off-peak times when the weather is nice, but the lines can try your patience in high-demand times. -

Korean & Hawaiian fusion at its finest! Not like i have ever had that combo before, but there's definitely a first time for everything.
So awesomely located off the Ferry, you capture a breathtaking view of the Seattle skyline from a different vantage point.
Their kimchi fried rice & quesadilla were a match made in Heaven, along with their spam macaroni salad!
They offered refreshing alcoholic beverages at their bar area & we enjoyed shave ice made with love to top it all off.
Extra points of course for allowing the pup to enjoy the warm sunshine with us! -

Located right at the ferry entrance, we heard a lot of Seattle natives saying this was a must stop! As soon as we got our bike from Wheel Fun, we rode right back for a sweet and cold treat!
The line is LONG, and getting your treat takes forever and a day!
They offer up to three flavors, so we went with guava, mango and coconut- all being delicious. It obviously melted quickly, and the two of us couldn't finish it before it became a sticky mess.
I enjoyed it, but just make sure you prepare for that wait! -

I've heard nothing but great things about this place. I was down at Alki one day and decided to give this a try. The line was incredibly long but I felt that made it worth it. I was starving and since I waited in line so long I wanted to try a few things from the menu.
The interior of the restaurant has a very beachy vibe and there is a lot of outdoor seating with amazing water views.
I ordered the Fish and Chips, Hawaiian Mac Salad, Kalua Pork Sliders, Spicy Pork Tacos and a Frose. EVERYTHING WAS FIREEEE your hear me EVERYTHING!! Knee weak AF after leaving here. If you haven't tried this place it's worth the line and the wait. You will be most satisfied. I haven't been able to get it off my mind since I left. WHYY!!!!
